What do I need to open an account?

If you already have a Folionet account, you can log in and select the minor account option from the App or Web platform (Certain jurisdictions do not apply).

If the minor has any form of identification, you can attach it to the registration. The approval time is usually 24 to 48 business hours.

What is the minimun investment?

The minimum investment to start your advised portfolio for minors is $2,000. Afterward, you can continue to make contributions to your account at your own pace.

What is the cost?

The annual cost is 1% of the portfolio's value, which is charged quarterly (0.25% per quarter).

Example: A $5,000 account will have an annual fee of $50 (1%), which will be partially charged each quarter at $12.50.

If I already have a Folionet account, how do I open a minor account?

If you already have a Folionet account, you can open a minor account from the app or web platform. When you select the minor account option, you will need to fill out a short form with the minor's information.

Who will manage the account?

The investment will consist of a specialized portfolio for minors, based on the objective and horizon managed by our advisors. The account holder only needs to worry about depositing funds as they wish—our team will handle the rest.

Minor accounts are offered by Folionet Advisers LLC and are invested in an ETF-based growth portfolio. Minor accounts are traditional brokerage accounts and are only offered to non-U.S. citizens or non-residents. Minors are not account holders of these brokerage accounts, but only beneficiaries. Do not make investment decisions without first consulting an advisor.
