To link your U.S. bank account to your investment account, you have two options: Manual Verification and Instant Verification.
Deposits and withdrawals made through linked bank accounts have no fees. However, these transactions are not instant. Requests initiated before 4:00 p.m. (New York time) are processed and reflected the next business day. Requests made after that time will be processed on the following business day.
If a deposit is rejected (for example, due to insufficient funds), our custodian will apply a $35 penalty for the returned transaction. We recommend verifying fund availability before confirming any deposit.

If you want to deposit funds into your investment account using your Mastercard Debit Card from your local bank (Visa only for U.S. banks), you can do so easily from our platform. Just link a card in your name and select the amount to transfer in the Transfers section. For security reasons, third-party cards are not accepted.
This type of transaction has an estimated duration of 1 business day (for deposits initiated before 4 PM New York time) and is subject to a variable fee determined by our payment providers and the deposit amount. Before confirming the deposit, you can see the exact cost directly on the platform.
Card deposits are a quick and convenient option for those seeking flexibility when investing. Depending on the deposit amount, the International Transfer option may be more suitable.
At Folionet, you can deposit funds from your local bank outside the United States following a simple and secure process. To facilitate this, we provide a detailed guide with all necessary steps. Additionally, with your Folionet account you can view the details needed to complete the transfer directly on our platform.
It is important to note that Folionet does not charge fees for international deposits, although your bank may apply additional charges, so we recommend verifying their rates beforehand. Depending on the amount, you may also consider the Debit Card option.
Once the transfer is made, you must send the receipt to support@folionet.com to validate the transaction; otherwise, funds will be returned per regulation. Transfers typically take 3 to 5 business days to be credited.
For withdrawals to accounts outside the U.S., you must complete a form that our team will provide. This process has a flat fee of $45 per transaction.
If you have multiple Folionet accounts, you can transfer funds between your investment accounts. Simply go to the Transfers section and select the "Move" option.
On the first screen, choose the account from which you want to send funds (source). Then select the destination account. Enter the amount you want to transfer and confirm the transaction.
Once initiated, the transfer will be processed within an estimated 24 to 48 business hours. When complete, the funds will be reflected in the destination account and you can continue your investments without issue.
Please note that once funds are deposited into an account, they cannot be withdrawn or transferred to another investment account for the first five (5) business days. This is per U.S. laws and anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
It is possible to bring your stock portfolio from another regulated U.S. institution to Folionet. This is done through a process called ACAT. This service allows you to transfer securities and cash from another financial institution directly to your Folionet investment account. To start, you can request the corresponding form by writing to support@folionet.com.
The estimated time to complete an ACAT stock transfer is 5 to 7 trading business days, depending on the originating institution. For margin accounts, they will be evaluated according to our internal margin policies before being accepted.
Please note that incoming ACATs to Folionet have no cost. However, the originating institution may charge fees for the transfer — we recommend verifying in advance.
