On the Folionet platform, each client has a secure, organized dashboard where they can view all their relevant personal information. This includes their registered profile details, such as name, address, registered email address, and phone number — ensuring transparency and control over their account.
At Folionet, you can verify at any time whether your data is up to date. If you need to update certain information, our support team can assist you.
If you are using the app, go to the lower right corner and enter the Account option. Then click on your name. On the web platform, simply click the settings icon in the upper right corner.
In this section you can view your personal data, residential address, and phone number. Within this same section, you can see the requirements to update your data as applicable.
If you need to update the address registered in your account, you must complete the W-8 form, providing: full name, nationality, residential address, identification number, date of birth, and country of residence. Don't forget to sign the document at the lower left, including your name and the date in U.S. format (mm-dd-yyyy).
If the change involves transitioning from an international account to a domestic account (U.S. resident), you will need to create a new registration using a different email address and phone number.
This process can be done directly from the app or website, selecting the U.S. resident option and providing your SSN or ITIN. Once the new account is approved, if you have positions or cash in your previous account, you will need to complete an additional form to request a portfolio transfer between accounts.
To process a change to your email address, for security and account protection reasons, we need to verify your identity. Please send a legible image of your valid government-issued ID to support@folionet.com so our team can validate and process the request.
If you wish to update the phone number registered on your account, please send us an email at support@folionet.com clearly indicating the new number you want to associate. Remember to include the country code.
This procedure allows us to ensure the security of your information and keep your contact details up to date for important future communications.
At Folionet, you have the option to designate a Trusted Contact for your investment accounts. This is a person you authorize to be contacted only in exceptional situations, such as incapacity, death, or if your contact information is outdated.
This option is available during the registration process. To establish it, you must provide details such as full name, address, and email. The information is collected for preventive purposes and stored under strict security standards.
It is important to note that the Trusted Contact does not have access to your investment account or your funds, and does not act as a beneficiary in the event of death. Their role is exclusively informational and as a backup.
You can add or modify your Trusted Contact at any time by writing to our support team at support@folionet.com.
It is possible to designate beneficiaries for your Folionet investment accounts. To do so, you must complete a document called Transfer on Death (TOD). This form allows you to assign one or more beneficiaries who will have rights to the assets in your accounts in the event of death. To request it, write to support@folionet.com.
This document has no cost when completing it. However, in the unfortunate event it must be executed upon the account holder's death, a one-time charge of $200 will apply.
It is important to note that beneficiaries will not have access to your investment account or your funds. This would only occur in the event of death.
This allows you to plan ahead and protect the destination of your investments in a secure and orderly manner.
